Interesting. When you compare all the states it seems jersey has the most liberal regulations.

^^^^It's the nj charter and commercial capts whining they cant feed their babies if the limits are cut. They will be forced to live on the streets. Oh the horror.

charter and head boats its a game fish here there is no commercial fishery

^^^^ I know that maybe I wasn't clear. Even though we don't have commercial fishing in NJ I consider the charter and party boats to be the commercial fishers. They lump them in with the rec guys but they are for hire and thus the commercial group in my mind.

Connecticut: Connecticut is considering two options.
Option A: One fish, 28″ or larger.
Option B: Introduce special rule for “for-hire” captains allowing 2 fish 32″ or larger.
I would be ok with that. Wish they could keep it at one though.
