The Cottage Inn has vanished

Went down the shore to do some maintenance on my boat and was going to stop at the Cottage Inn for lunch. I did not know this but they leveled it. It is no more. It was a great seafood restaurant and I shall miss it.

Come a little further down into sea bright and you will see a blank space standing where McCloones used to be. Nothing but a leveled site. A few other buildings that way got leveled in prep for the new rumson bridge. Guess you can't stop progress.

Well some things vanish forever and some things stand the test of time. That movie clerks was on last night. They shot it 20 years ago and the building in leonardo is still standing. Some before and after pics.

I agree rob that was a great bulkhead for father son fishing for bluefish in the spring. that's that! and ledhed thanks for sharing those pics pretty cool
