Did not know it was that high finchaser. Thaks for posting

DCR
kills approximately
7.7
% of all weakfish in the Delaware Estuary.
6
DNREC’s own study
warns that weakfish mortality “is of special concern, since weakfish have declined throughout
their range
coast wide
. The Delaware Bay stock has seen one of the earliest and steepest
declines.”
7
According to National Marine Fisheries Ser
vice estimates, the recreational catch of
weakfish has declined
by nearly two orders of magnitude
in the past decade
with the declines
expected to continue at a steady rate into the future
.
8
As a result,
DCR
’s impact on adult
weakfish populations will bec
ome more significant as the adult population continues to shrink.
DCR
also kills
27
% of all the striped bass
and 19% of the bay anchovy
in the entire Delaware
Estuary.
9
Like weakfish, striped bass harvest levels in the Delaware Estuary have been declining
over time.

Wow they really need to go in and make some decent rules so that doesn't happen so often. You would think that just if they set specific temperature discharge ranges that could be a big help. What do you think finchaser?

We are going to be in deep sh_t especially since they listened to Fote and the JCAA and are most likely going to be the only state not 1@ 28 unless there is a miracle at Thursday's meeting. Seems to be a total collapse:burn: in the making along the entire striper coast:scared:
