SANDY HOOK (http://www.nj.com/monmouth%20county/) ? Authorities identified the woman found dead with her dog in a Sandy Hook parking lot as a Bergen County resident.
Natalie Lapshina, 42, of Wallington, was discovered unresponsive Monday night (http://www.nj.com/monmouth/index.ssf/2015/06/womandog_died_in_sandy_hook_parking_lot_authoritie .html#incart_river) inside an Audi Q7 in Parking Lot B at Sandy Hook, said Charlie Webster, spokesman for the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.
Webster said there appears to be nothing suspicious about her death and there were no signs of foul play.
The National Park Service earlier said the woman was found outside her vehicle, but Webster said she was found in the driver's seat.
He said her last known contact with someone was earlier in the afternoon on Monday. She was found at 8:47 p.m. and pronounced dead at the scene at 9:04 p.m. after emergency responders were unable to revive her using CPR and a defibrillator.
The park service said a dog was found dead in the back seat of the car.
Webster said the dog died from being inside the vehicle on a hot summer day.
