Yeah noticed that as well. Hope things work out for them. Hardly anyone is fishing at the park lately. Most activity near the inlet. Other than that you have a lot of families that put rods on the beach but they are there to swim.

That sucks. I like there morning conditions reports. Will miss them. Best wishes that they get it back together soon.

I hope things work out for hem also. Would be terrible if they went out of business.
Was the first Surf Fishing store I ever went in and whenever I am down there I would usually stop in.

Yes I agreee every year another one falls victim to the economy. It would be a shame to see him rebuilt all the way back from sandy and then still go belly up.

He cornered the market on video weigh ins. Some of them were ridiculous but you have to give the guy credit. Hope he gets it resolved and back up and running.

Those weigh ins killed a lot of fish needlessly IMO

Thats good news.
I stopped into to Meltzer's in Garfield today. They are closing at the end of the year. Started in 1914.
Business has slowed down and he is at the age where he wants to close it up.

Picked up a few things at 20% off

They seem to have a new front page for their website. Just checked and it looks nice. Good luck to John. It's a tough business.

Thank you I checked it out. I don't know the guy but have followed his surf conditions reports. Is there any reason he's not doing them any more?

He's still doing the surf daily reports. Sometimes he may not do them if he's busy.
