On the way back, went to Wildwood for the Anglesea Festival. Passed by the weigh in for the Duke of fluke tournament, some serious competition. It was over by the time we got there, but I think Team High Wire got the prize for the 5 heaviest fluke, somewhere around 31.6lbs. Think Team First Light came in 2nd, around 31 lbs, not sure. Now those are some big flatties!

Sterling Harbor B&T hosted the tournament.

The logo for the tournament, and a few pics I managed to scrounge up. Sorry I missed the weigh in, and congrats to the dedicated efforts of Team First Light. wtg, guys. :clapping::thumbsup:

Anyone who has pics of the winners, please put them up!

THANK YOU everyone for fishing the Tournament! We had a GREAT time with all of you at the post tournament festivities!
What are the odds of a 4 way tie at 6.6 pouinds for Single Heaviest??? More trophies are on order guys! Congrats!
Congrats to Archie Faulkner and crew on the High Wire for an awesome catch of Five Flounder weighing in at 31.6 pounds!! We haven't seen a catch like that for a while. Nice Job!
Capt. Jim Lai (Ridge Runner) and Capt. Dan Avena (Gold Rush) also had nice stringers to take 2nd and 3rd Place.
There were alot of nice fish brought to the scales that did not win a Trophy... like I say every year, you are an impressive group of Flounder Fishermen!
