I read an article about oyster harvesting in NJ.
One possible shining light. I found it interesting that the NJ DEP is so Nazi like when it comes to things that might improve our water quality. Don't they want business to succeed or do they want everyone to leave NJ?

I think the DEP should have some clearer rules. It seems they are very inconsistent with their prosecutions and policies. We definitely need more state CO's.

Agreed. I read an article that there was an oyster farmer in the Delaware Bay and they tried to put him in jail for growing oysters! Did anyone else see that? i will try to look for it and post if I find it.

Yeah I read that too they took all of his oysters and arrested him. Like he was a criminal or something. *** the guy was just growing some oysters and working for a living.

DEP was the ones that was going to let the towns figure out individually which would allow fishermen. That's all I need to know.
