Is that Capt Jeff Gutman? Those are some rough seas there. That was yesterday you say. I hope joaquin doesn't hit the low lying shore towns that badly again.

Bogan is half crazy he hardly ever cancels. Half the fares could get sick and he's still shaping up for the trip.

I hope no one goes out and tries to fish on the inlets like that one famous pic. This was from a few years ago. I might have gotten it here and saved it on my desktop

Believe that was the squan inlet. Those toolbags in the shot are lucky they didn't drown that day.

I guess they haven't learned that bait and fish go into the inlet and river in bad storms they don't hang out in that kind of turbulance

They keep changing direction and tracking predictions. Part of me hopes it isn't that bad and goes somewhere else. Part of me hopes it comes directly at nj and brings all the replenished sand out to sea. Anyone else?

Was listening to the news forecasts and like someone said they are not clear. One said this storm might veer off to the gulf or carolinas. Another said it was going to the right up to cape cod. Stay safe everyone. Hope the fishing is good after we need some good fall fishing for once.

They are starting to say the tracking will be more out to sea. I really hope so or the damages could be huge.

You guys should check out some of the beach cams. Surfchex is a good one. These are screen shots I grabbed from the cam at the manasquan inlet. The seas look a bit sporty.

Unbelievable who goes out in that dangerous water on a jet ski? He's lucky to be alive.

Send him the bill for whatever the cost was for his rescue, should be arrested for unbelievable stupidity and putting others at risk for unbelievable stupidity.

I agree. I watched that video it was scary. Even though the CG rescuer is a professional they were twirling around out there in that intense air current. At any time the rescued skier or the CG guy could have dropped into the sea. What are people thinking when they take a jetski or boat out in that weather?:beatin:
