I waited a year for a pattern to develop, the first flood water of Oct will stir up big walleyes, second part of the pattern is Rip water, in my case a break in the falls under the dam that causes the water to circle and i cast over and over in the same spot. some of these are the same fish but i got several in the 4.5 to 6.5 lb range. My worst fear came true though an hombre was fishing with a hand line for sunnies? saw me catch and grabbed his rod and tied on a shad and two 5lbers left on his stringer. There is a decline problem developing where i fish similar to stripers im just got getting any smaller fish. The river got invaded by flat heads and i think they are eating up the fry so I hate to see a guy keep a fish thats maybe 7-8 years old. Much like a striper these fish hit with a jolting strike, love that part best. 4 -5 inch paddle tails in white

Delaware river?Any time I ever went to the delaware the only walleyes I saw caught were about 12-13 inches. Those are monsters! Nice work.

I don't fish freshwater a lot but from the look of those pics they are fat. Nice job!

Nice catch. You mentioned paddle tails in white. Do you think for a river they work better than any other color. even pink? thanks

Fat healthy fish. Good on you for keeping it going by throwing them back.
