The fishing reports thread and the dismal catches gave me the idea for this. The way things are going we will be catching 20 inch hickory shad and patting each other on the back for a nice fall run fish.
suppose we come up with a new grand slam definition.
grand slam = top 3 fish
super grand slam = top 4 fish

I'll start
grand slam = hickory shad, cocktail blue, runt striper
super grand slam = hickory, cocktail blue, striper, stargazer

Let's hear yours based on what you have been catching lately

lol good one. Well if you want to do this right you should give us in south jersey a separate category. Cape may is the dogfish capital of the world. Here's mine
grand
dogfish, skate, sea robin
super grand
dogfish, skate, sea robin, croaker (alternate croaker with kingfish because they are both tasty and cyclical)

I see you liked my grand slam suggestion! You are spot on.
My nominations in order of how many times you can catch them instead of stripers
regular: shad/ skate/ stargazer
super: shad/ sea robin/ skate/ dogfish

Love it. Maybe someone could come up with trophies and awards.

Do you get an honorable mention if you catch a seagull? What about if you snag a surfer?
