Heads up for this tourney guys. I normally fish cape may. Might have to try my luck north next time.
Riptide Spring Striper Derby 2016 was approved by City Council last night and will start this weekend. With this permit and a valid Brigantine 4X4 permit you will be allowed to drive and fish the front beaches of Brigantine NJ. It will run until May 22nd. There will be cash prizes for the 3 biggest stripers and the 3 biggest bluefish. Stripers will be 500.00, 300.00 and 150.00 and blues will be 300, 200, and 100 . This weekend we will start to sell the permits and please obey ALL local beach driving regulations and speed.
