Hey guys just started using braid and could use some help. How do you stop from getting cuts when casting a lot. What works best for you? Thanks!

I have used this 3/4" tape for years. 1 full wrap around finger. Plus I basically laminate it to my finger nail before I start fishing.
It lasts through trips that are 8 hours, casting artificials the full trip.

Good suggestion. I started to use one of those cloth fishing gloves. And just cut the one index finger off and tape it around my finger.
I think they make things for your finger you can buy online as well.

the medical tape is the best but I am cheap and use regular electrical tape I have cases of the stuff. I only wrap if I am fishing heavier stuff over 3oz so I can really lay into casts.
