I used power pro for the last time this week. I was fishing some windy and rainy conditions, had two break offs, and lost two nice plugs.
The wind was there but it was manageable 10 to 15 miles an hour so that shouldn't be a factor. I am sick of powerpro and the hype that goes with it. Will never fish it again even if someone gave it to me for free. Rant over.

Had the same experience. Mysterious break-offs. Someone said check your line guides and I did with a Q-tip. No cracks or breaks in the guide. Switched to sufix braid and I am very happy. Won't go back to PowerPro again either.

Same here, breakoffs for no reason. Since switching no problem.
