I saw a bunch of boats all fleeted up inside the north pocket of Manasquan inlet, with kayaks and SUP's in the mix, so I got on board and went there thinking I'll catch a weakfish.
No weakfish, but Albie's jumping out of the water and pinning baits up against the rocks. Tons of people on the rocks trying with fly rods, etc.
I came in and tried casting a few times, but saw a guy hook up on a slow troll. Put out the deadly penis and it was game on. Stayed out 1 hour and had 2 about 8#, and one that ran off 5 times including a run from the boat, and another from the net. That one was about 11-12# Awesome.

I was SMH looking at this video. First of all, who keeps albies to eat? They taste like cat food. Second of all what's with the blue gloves holding the fish are you afraid of cooties?

Yes, they have been showing up at Island beach everyday and also down by the inlet and the pocket.

Saw them this morning above the park. Only had about 15 minutes, and they were way far out, but it was a nice sight to see.
