That is 10 million dollars a mile to build sand dunes!
I bet I could do it for 1 million per mile. and without the gold shovels that the government uses as well LOL

What a joy it would be if the Army corps could follow some of the less expensive and more creative action that has been taken. Ocean Gate comes to mind with the dune grass they planted- not at the cost of millions and millions of dollars but at a cost of few thousand.

Yeah but that will never happen. They investigate all these politicians on national TV and some of the most bizarre scandals. There has to be some kind of payoff or scandal behind the acoe unyielding policies. all the acoe is doing is pushing sand around from one county to another. Call me cynical but I believe there are some payoffs going on somewhere.

I heard that too. There should be some committee that has oversight to the acoe to see if the money is spent wisely. Just like with any Corp orgovt agency. At my age I know that is just wishful thinking as has been said.
