I thought this was worth mentioning. The article details what many of us have known all along, that beach replenishment is just one big boondoggle, and a waste.

Thanks for posting. Its some ridiculous BS. like a nightmare you keep having that never ends. Starting to hate the state of New Jersey.

follow the money. Take some of these never ending contracts and see what the connections family or otherwise are to the pols who got them approved.

Anyone take a ride down jetty country lately? I have. makes you want to puke when you look at it. God it is such a shame. Fishing will be ruined forever.

I drove past there the other day. You know with the next use hurricane all that stuff is going to be gone and the rocks will be exposed again, what a waste.

I keep telling you guys your waters are going to end up looking like Cape May. it's all about the tourists, flat beaches and white sand. Doesn't matter if it works or not they will keep doing it. it's a lost cause for fishermen.
