What to cast when squid around?

I saw that report about squid in the stomach contents thread. I didn't even know they came close to the beaches I thought that was out in the deep. was wondering if you know there are squid close by what do you guys throw that matches the hatch? Thank you so much gents.

pink darters for the fish,squid jigs for the squid but they will usually hit whatever they see.A darting motion mimics their swimming action pretty good.

That makes sense, good advice. Will try them if I ever see squid around.

What surfstix said. Darters are probably your best bet. I have done ok with bucktails with long pork trailers as well at times.

Awesome advice thanks. Have seen the squid boats working some nights off of Monmouth County so there must still be squid around.
