I think they're coming early this year, what do you all think. I am SO eagerly awaiting those yellow-eyed demons, anyone else?:headbang::headbang:

Uggh. blue fish. The most worthless fish in the sea.Take them all and grind for shark chum. Then there would be more stripers.

My grandmother's secret blue fish recipe. 10 easy steps:
1-Scale the blues and clean like you would small salmon fillets
2-Soak them in water with a few table spoons of salt overnight
3-Cover cedar plank with olive oil and franks red hot
4-Place desired fillets on plank
5-Top with a thin layer of mayo
6-Sprinkle salt, pepper, lawrys, lemon pepper, cayenne, chili powder
7-Add a sliced onion and/or lemon
8-BBQ on medium for 1 hour exactly
9-BBQ on high for an additional 10 minutes to get that charcoaled glaze
10-Now here's the key! Hopefully you've read, studied, and followed these simple intructions up to this point. Now when you remove the plank off the BBQ, be sure to scrape that nasty bluefish into the garbage and enjoy your wonderful, freshly cooked cedar plank. BAM!

I had a dream last night that I was swimming a plug in a back bay early spot for stripers. All of a sudden out of the water jumps a giant 16 pound Gorilla Blue and I missed it! You know that never happens because they are so savage they will keep coming back over and over until they crush whatever you're throwing. Can't wait.

I heard something strange earlier today. Don't know if it's true or not. Was in one of the tackle shops along Rt 36 buying a hi low rig and the guy behind the counter said a few bluefish were already caught on clams. Is that possible or what?

I would not feed them to my cats.
I really enjoy catching them, especially 30 inch and above Gators.

Fished moco in the front yesterday. 3-6. Two short stripers on the shad. Apparently I missed some great blue fish action. Guys were there talking about it happening yesterday, but nothing ever did.

I was fishing Island Beach last night, and I saw a guy catch a giant. He said it weighed 18 pounds on the Boga. Wish I had a phone with me to snap the shot. It was about 40 inches long. Big big blue

Some of these are true gorillas. Better fight than any striper. Got broke off twice yesterday. Great fights.

They were maybe 25 inches or so.

Been watching the party boat reports for the big blues but it looks like they are just not finding them like they did last year. Does anyone remember all the 20 pounders they were catching? Hope this slight weather shift turns them on a bit. Could really use a trip on the ocean for some big gators.
