Oh for crying out loud will you get off the train about boat against surf fisherman please? This was a huge operation headed up by a scumbag. So glad that they caught him. It was probably just the tip of the iceberg. To say that this has anything to do with boat fishing would be like blaming anyone who fishes on a boat for all the illegal netting that is done in North Carolina and Maryland every year. That's just crazy.

Tip of the iceberg is putting it mildly. One bad apple like that can probably do more damage than 200 fishermen.

Follow up info the trial is over. This is the biggest poaching operation I can remember.
