Gotta get those federal dollars rolling to fix it. Federal money is flowing in the back bay, Belford to Union Beach and some other areas. Get it while the going is good. Good luck

Federal funds are often the key. They just approved 120 million in federal $ to protect a pumping station in Sayreville from storm surges.

I was there the other day and saw it. It's going to take a loooong time to repair.

Didn't they just got done fixing the Manasquan side in the back over by that little cove area?

Hoping they get a quick start and get a handle on it before Memorial Day, at least with the initial reconstruction. Point Pleasant takes in a lot of tourist dollars. There are many occasions when I take the wife for a drive down the beach and Point Pleasant area, and there are always vehicles parked there. It would be a shame to lose that revenue and the overall ripple effect in the tourist dollars.

Separate issue. They probably have an emergency fund earmarked to fix the inlet ASAP. jmo

Yeah you got to get those repairs done by May, so all the googs and jamokes can come and catch their 15 giant blue fish apiece. Was anyone there during the gorilla slaughter last year in May? Epic LOL
