I'll try to keep this short and sweet.

That being said....he's one of the old salts I talk about often....and he and his crusty old buddies, back in the day........were instrumental in raising awareness about Striped Bass migration, numbers, fishing access. fishing rights....etc.......they represented with Bodies showing up at meetings and protests. not just rants on the internet......
Old School....old fashioned....but boy....could they catch fish....not just a few at a time....but dozens....many fish...large and small...and they were out every night.....fishing the night tides....before there were books written about it.....when to learn.....you had to go out and make the mistakes....and get better.....there was no internet learning and internet learning curve.....
All right...enough said...please join me in wishing one of the East Coast's most accomplished old farts.....and Saltwater fishermen....a happy birthday......continued good health...checkups......and hoping for a few more......
