Didn't know if you would want it here or in the Pub, Joe, so I slapped it here.
Listing of upcoming prostrate screenings. Guys over 50 or those with a family history, don't be sissies. It killed Gary, and it could kill you too.
No guys in this age bracket are immune, so go man up and get tested!

Class or Event: JSUMC - Prostate Cancer ScreeningDates and Times: Wednesday, September 17, 2008 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM
Class/Event Information: Prostate Cancer Screening
- There will be a wait between the blood work done at 4pm & 4:30pm, and your appointment with the Urologist, between 5pm & 7pm, as the physician needs to have the blood work completed before he can perform the actual exam.
Available Seat(s): 20
Who Should Enroll: Men between the age of 40 and 75 who have NOT partipated in a prostate screening, exam, PSA or been seen by a Urologist within the past 12 months.

The biggest obstacle to getting tested is making the call for the appointment, getting over the stereotyped male fears. Thanks for posting.:clapping:

Well said. During the holidays I tend to eat more sausage and things that have nitrites. Gary Hull died from prostrate cancer. Get yours checked if you haven't done it.

Good point bucket. My neighbor did the screening in November and they found some issues. He now has the radioactive seeds implanted and is hoping they will work so surgery is not needed.
