Having trouble with the door locking. Can't get it to unlock sometimes. Can someone help?

Had a similar problem with mine. Maytag told me this:

Press the START/STOP button to stop the machine. Then check your watch. It may take up to 1.5 to two minutes for the door to unlock. Next, pull on the door indentation (you'll find it opposite the hinges).
