What to throw

The wind has been howling a lot lately, what should I be throwing?

The guys who taught me said its best to toss metal lures like hopkins and ava jigs to get through the wind.

T-hex or an Ava 27 or 47, or the slimmest heaviest metals you can find, punch through anything but gale force winds.:D
