Artificial eels

Thinking about getting some artificial eels. Is it worth it?

Right now the bass are eating sandeels and needle fish in a lot of surf areas. Anything that fits that profile is good, from a redgill teaser to the storm eels on the tin squid imitation old style setup.

I was at Sandy Hook 2 weeks ago. One of the few guys to nail fish in the early bite was using a bucktail with some type of rubber eel, maybe a felmlee, or something like that. Good stuff.

I have fished those felmlee eels before, just with a leadhead, and gotten bass with them.
