Train fish to catch themselves?

Scientists at Woods Hole lab in Mass. are trying to train Black Sea Bass using Pavlov techniques to get them to return to areas where they will be netted. Sounds crazy to me.

The distance for the tone is 100 meters. The fish remember from 5 to 10 days according to their experiments. IMO they will never be able to train these fish.
