Not exactly a bottom report but let's get something going in this forum! My brother in law, Will and myself met up with Dark Skies for some bassing on the Sea Hunter out of Atlantic Highlands. Slow day but the Captain worked VERY hard, doing about ten drops and burning lots of fuel. His first drop was onto a school of small and guys immediately hooked up on small fish. He made the decision to leave and get bigger fish elsewhere. I was all for it. The new moon tide was ripping; very difficult to hold bottom with our AVA47 jigs but this was the key to fish. Lots of smaller blues and doggies with four keeper bass caught.
