Anyone here ever sling an Omoto 777-S3?
I just got one and was wondering how it performs when you let it all hang out,,,

Where are they made, Taiwan? Here's a pic of the 666 series, now you have me curious. You're using the 777, slightly bigger? How is the action on that?

Hello Pinhead,

sorry to say but the time for such a reel is over in my parts.
I just got it a few days ago[a crimmus gift to myself].been hunting one down for 2 years, finally found one on ebay [thunder51].
I am looking to get a 666-s3 as well.

also that VS-10[$160.00 bucks] is lookin' sweet but I don't do without levelwinds.

my buddy thats a reel guru looked at it sunday and smiled at it as he said it's very well made and solid,I agree.

it is bigger, the sam size as an abu-7000.in all actuality,it is a 7000 since omoto made 7000's for abu some years ago, omoto has their version of it as you see in your post.they share their parts.

what kinda curiosity ya have?
you have any?

an interesting piece from Banax,I'd favor the 4.7-1 ratio myself,3.8-1 is waay sloww but, heavy torque!,,and no!,I don't need to know how many pounds of drag it has.
