Frogs

When I was a kid my aunt and uncle lived near a lake. I remember them fishing with live frogs. Don't recall how successful they were. Anyone ever try it?

I used to use baby frogs fishing for bass. We stuck a small hook in the foot so it could swim. I caught a bass using one. The lake had a lot of big pickeral. The rest of them got chopped up by the pickeral, and I didn't have a wire leader, so I lost them. :embarassed:

They work well but you can kill a lot of bass allowing them to swallow a from and end up deep hookinng them. Use artificial frogs and have a blast watching them suck it down and still be able to release them to grow up for another day.
