What a catch!

Ron Lewis of Point of Rocks, Md., landed a 67.1-pound blue catfish in the Potomac River (http://www.wtopnews.com/?nid=733&inform_keyword=Potomac+River) Sunday.
"When we brought the catfish alongside the boat we quickly realized that we needed a larger landing net; so we had to haul the fish into the boat by hand," said Lewis.
The big fish, which measured 51 inches long, with a girth of 34.5 inches, set a new state record.
Josh Fitchett set the previous record of 65.5-pound state record in 2006.
"Mr. Lewis's historic catch illustrations Maryland (http://www.wtopnews.com/?nid=733&inform_keyword=Maryland)'s superb year-round fishing opportunities," said Maryland Department of Natural Resources (http://www.wtopnews.com/?nid=733&inform_keyword=Maryland+Department+of+Natural+Reso urces) Secretary John R. Griffin.
Forget mounting this baby, you'll be able to see it. It will be on display at Bass Pro Shops' store in Arundel Mills Mall.
