When will you start using your kayak?

Wondering when the first brave nuts will be throwing their kayaks in, and looking for the cows. Wetsuits good enough? or does anyone have a drysuit?

Don't know how much experience you have, but you should always go with a buddy this time of year. You should follow the "Rule of 100", where if the air and water temp, added up, is less than that #, you should exercise extreme caution. If you have experience, maybe you can chance it. If you are a newbie, remember that even experienced kayakers have died from exposure in early and late season trips. Even with a wet suit, things can get hairy quickly. At the very minimum, you should have a snug fitting wet-suit this time of year.
