Ice fishing in NJ is alive. In the Star Ledger there was an article by mark DiIoone, about a 4 generation family which goes ice fishing. The oldest is an 84 year old man. Their trip ended on Budd Lake with several Perch.
There was another group mentioned from Sussex who go out almost every day. Each day they rotate which lake they go to.
