This is what they decided... 6 fish limit, 18"
May23rd to Sept. 4th for the season. I guess it could have been worse, look at what they're going through in New York.

I wish for once they would talk to the fishermen, or put a guy who fishes all season on their review board. It's stupid to put all fish back when you know a certain number are going to die anyway. I fished last year for fluke from the surf and didn't catch one keeper all year.:burn:

They're targeting for female breeders to be kept by throwing smaller males back. It would make much more sense to me if you let guys keep 2 at 17", and strictly enforce that to make sure everyone was in compliance.
But where would the money come from for that enforcement without a saltwater license when they're cutting voluntary COs out of the program now? http://stripersandanglers.com/Forum/images/icons/icon13.gif
