The thing that impressed me most about the Maryland show was the new features in some of the campers and RVs. I remember when I was a kid, my parents bought an Apache pop-up camper. We towed that thing across country, took it as far as Colorado. Some good times, and some bad times in that thing and on the road. We were attacked by locusts in Kansas, my brother almost blew a finger off with a m-80 we brought along with us, :scared: typical crazy family stuff.
We did get to see a lot of the country from the road. It's an experience you can't get from an airplane. We saw the Rocky Mountains, Mount Rushmore, the Crazy Horse monument, the great plains, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, had some great meals, and some craziness in between. I can see why people still get into camping and RV use, it's one of the most economical ways to plan a family vacation.
There were a lot of RV models there, so this isn't an objective representation. My girlfriend and I only went in the ones that caught our eye. Thought I would share some of the pics.
