Teaser Hooks

Can anyone recommend a teaser hook with a big eye. I have been using Mustad 34007 for a long time, but my eyesight is not what it used to be. I've been looking at the Eagle Claw 254SS, is the eye that much bigger? Thanks

Tried to do some searching for you. It looks to me as if the Eagle Claw does have the bigger eye. Give it a try if it does not work you can always go back to the Mustad.

I'm in the same boat, surfwalker, I can see and hear bunker at night, but threading braid in the darkness and reading are 2 things that I need glasses for. Looks like the Eagle claw might be a little bigger on the inside diameter.

Thanks 7dp, I'll give the EC a shot. Dark, yeah the eyes have really gone bad. It's tough tying braid when it's cold out- the eyes are tearing, the hands are numb and my glasses are at the bottom of the bag.

VMC #9171PSC (perma steel open ring special long point)The VMC is my trailer hook for my plugs & you could use a smaller size for teasers.
I usually do not use stainless because if it does break off it will stay in the fishes mouth much longer.If you need a good supplier for these PM me and I will let you know buy in bulk save money.
