I am a third generation surf fishermen. My father started taking me when I was 5. I remember the thrill of my first bass and pride and excitement in my dad's voice when he was telling my mother.
What generation are you?

I'm 2nd generation. My Dad fished, but only occasionally on family trips. I am the one in the family with the compulsion to be out there no matter what.

I'm second generation in my family too voyager. My Dad fished when I took him, and my uncles are fishing fanatics. My brothers and cousins all fish.

3rd generation fisherman. Never fished with grandpa as he was ill at an early age. My father giot me into it at 5 years old. He would teach me lake fishing for bass and stream fishing for trout, (fly fishing and fly tying). We both started fishing the surf together. Great memories.
