A little summary for guys who don't feel like watching the whole thing, (but you should):

These Congressional representatives and Senators work a part time job and get a pension larger than most of us will ever dream of. Is that fair? All paid for with our tax dollars. He had some simple recommendations for Congress:
Laws that apply to the rest of the country should apply to Congress.

Term limits, 2 terms only.

Get their own 401k? Mick I didn't know this, according to this guy, a member who serves one term in
Congress is eligible for a full salary pension for the rest of their lives? How can this be true?

Pay for their own health insurance. It's only a part time position. How many people in this country who have part-time positions get fully funded health insurance? I don;t know about you guys out there, but I have to pay my own every month, for a long time I couldn't afford any health insurance at all, so I only went to the Dr when really sick, and ignored the rest of the minor stuff. These guys get it all paid? ***?

Abolish electoral colleges. How can it be a fair vote if the ultimate vote is decided by electoral delegate? That promotes cronyism and potential soft money manipulation.http://stripersandanglers.com/Forum/images/icons/icon13.gif

Full salary pension and free medical for life. Plus most of these pimps just retire into lobbying. We are all suckers to these 'elected representatives'.

One thing is that when it comes to SS government employees can not collect. However if they get full salary pensions it should be changed.
