v35, thanks for bringing this up. I have read it many, many times in the past. There is so much history, side stories, and tips to be enjoyed through this article. The section on the old Rebels was great. They are always in the bag-the 4 1/2, 5 1/2 and 7"(a few of the old 7" still in the box marked at $1.87)- they have come through for me when all else fails. The Hellcats were another great one, I only have one beat up one left that is retired and will not be thrown.

nice reading,love those bull mullets and musso surface swimmers,looks a bit like some I made.

For all the new fishermen just starting out, this is a great article to start and learn about the history of plugs.
