Is it worse to get a hook up, see the fish, then have to line break or have the line break without you having seen the fish?

I'd rather not see what I missed out on.

I would want to see it as at least half the fun is finding the fish and tricking the fish to take the plug. I would feel some acomplishment in seeing what I have hooked up with. And of coarse the disapointment/frustration of loosing it.

I want to see the fish,if it breaksoff then it's just an LDR[long distance release].

I need to see the fish, what fun is it to tell the story with the size or kind of fish.
