It's that time of year again and vacations are just around the corner. When traveling with my rods I put them in 4' diameter cardboard tubes with plastic end caps. Mine is getting worn and could use a new one.

I have a Frabill pack and go. I purchased it from Cabala's awhile ago for around $80. Holds up to four rods and reels. Never had any trouble with it.

How about PVC ? Just an idea.

I heard lots of people use PVC. I wonder how they close off the ends?
