How big do you think the striped bass have been in the past and current day? Do you think they have been over 100 lbs?

I believe the biggest Striper was Netted and was 125 pounds :wow: in the Carolinas.

I think it was in the late 1800's and that was with the head cut off. Maybe a Daguerrotype but no pics.

^^ Wow what a beast! I have a friend who says there are 100 lb stripers out there but I keep telling him they dont get that big any more.

The Gene Pool might have been wiped out. That School that was netted were all Huge Bass near the 125 pound mark.:burn::beatin:
