Got laid off this morning. Two small projects to finish up, shouldn't take more than a day, then I'm gone.
Pray for me and my family.
Thanks,
Jon

Sorry to hear that, JTP. I was laid off 2 years ago, and didn't find another job for 6 months. It was not a good time, but I made it through without going bankrupt. I will pray for you and your family. Hang in there.

I'm an Architectural Designer; I design homes and additions. I've worked for remodelers for the past 5 yrs. I use 3D software to design and present with. I go along on the sales calls, do the estimates, and help manage the projects. I have also been the de facto IT guy (I'm a CCNA,) fixing hardware, software, and network issues, and did SEO and web design for them also.
Sounds like a lot, but in small business I guess you learn to be a jack of all trades. Or at least have to have your hand in every part of the business.
And oh yeah I have a 2 yr degree in accounting.
You can find my resume on linkedin. Haven't updated it in a while - guess I'll have to do that.

Sorry you were laid off. Our thoughts are with you and your family. The good thing about being a jack of all trades in a smaller business is that it opens up a world of possibilities when looking for something new. Best of luck to you.

Sorry to hear that. Wish I had a million $$, I'd hire ya to kill all the coyotes in the South, that would take a few years. ;) Seriously, call anytime, if I can help.
