What is the first plug that you take out of your bag to use?

my first out is either one of my fat mullets or a Rip-Runner in 6-7 inch.

That depends on my location.

North shore LI ; Bomber or Choopy's needle.
South shore-backside ; Bomber, metal-lip (peanut swimmer) or bucktail. Depending on the conditions and bait.
South Shore - front side ; bucktail, bottle plug or a swimmer.

I use the white ss popper I always like to see what I can raise on topwater first then I will switch to a swimmer or a sinking needlefish love those needles depending on where I am fishing of course.
