Made a trip to Chincoteague for Fathers Day to visit the inlaws and had to hit the surf to wet a line fishing was slow slow slow with nothing but rays. Before calling it quits I had to hit one of my honey holes before going back to the inlaws,it paid off we ended up with 11 stripers from 15-26" and a turtle and lost two other fish that might have made 28" but still had a fun night.

Hey at least you guys got action, that's what it's all about. Your son looks happy, and it seems you had a Happy Father's day. Can't ask for more than that, priceless memories. :fishing:

The smiles on your faces say it all. There will be a day when he isn't interested in fishing with you, girls, cars, and friends will take over. You will be approached as a cash machine when he needs money. Then, after a few more years of getting nothing but ugly ties for Father's Day, he might decide he wants to hook up with his good old Dad again and go fishing. These are the best times, enjoy them.
