When bait fishing, how long to you keep the bunker or clams on the line before you change it if you get no hits?

10-15 minutes tops I only use fresh bunker real fresh never frozen if I need to fish frozen I would rather plug or not go at all. I usually only fish the heads and one large chunk behind the head,looking for the big guys and trying to keep the blues at bay.Clams same as the bunker fresh never frozen.

Change your baits frequently if you want to catch. Don't be cheap. The scent washes out, and when fishing on the bottom the crabs feast on it. You will also want to remove the seaweed if any is around. About 10-15 minutes, or sooner if a lot of crabs.
