Penn 704Z spinfisher revue

i had the Penn 704Z spinfisher for many years surf fishing and never had to do anything but wash the sand off it.
the 704z has an all metal casing as well as bronze gears, and the drag is surge resistant for those extra long and hard striped bass runs.
ask for it by name, well worth the money .

I remember those well,I didn't like them and most of my friends didn't either,we opted for Daiwa silver and Gold series reels that were new at that time.
still they were like tanks and almost never broke.the worts ting that broke on them were the bail springs.
the big daiwas also never broke,only bail springs broke.
AAMOF,I still have 2 of my old surf reels,a daiwa GS-3 and a daiwa GS-30.
