State's and fishing

Was doing some reading on fishing in different states. I decided to pose a question. In your opinion which state has the best fishing on the east coast and why?

jersey we have the longest coastline, great inlets and nowhere else on the east coast does the bass chow down on the bunkers for 6 weeks in the spring like here.

I don't know the whole state of Rhode Island, but from what I have seen from a boat up there that would be my answer. The shoreline is rocky, beautiful, and holds bait and fish.
