anyone getting snappers in the back?

I wanted to take some of the neighbor kids fishing, and wondered if you guys are getting snappers with any regularity. I have the popper white styrofoam rigs, and if anyone could point me in the right direction without breaking rules here, I would appreciate it. Thanks

I don't know where you are fishing from, but you can catch them from the public docks at Belmar and Point Pleasant. The best time I would recommend trying for them is on a weekday when there is not too much boat traffic, and then around dawn or at the end of the day. Good luck.

keyport and highlands have them all over

OC has them in the back. Try anywhere there is a dock or bulkhead, and small bait around.
