Beach anchored buoys

In a spot that I fish sometimes there were buoys out about 200 feet with rope anchored to the beach (every 100 feet along the neach or so). I fished this location after Labor Day the past two years and these buoys and rope were not there. Is this typical that they are taken down after Labor Day?

Are you talking about the swimming zones for bathers Monty? If so I believe they are taken down after Labor day. I believe it is up to the municipality as to exactly when they come down, because I have seen some up after Labor day.
