:HappyWave:Hey Dave welcome, I fish nearby where you live in the spring. Have you been fishing the ocean or the bay lately?

Hey Dave, don't know if I've met you yet, but a warm welcome to Stripers&Anglers! :HappyWave:
Sorry to hear about the current job status, this is the worst economic environment I've seen in many years. The best part of that is that it can only get better, though it may not recover until 6 months to a year from now.
We have a great resource for job leads here, check it out if you get a chance:

If you have skills other than which you were trained for, now may be a good time to think about using them. Should you want to promote any new legal business venture, feel free to visit our "Member Promo" forum. If it's fishing related, or any kind of new product, I would be glad to look at it and give ya honest feedback.

I hope and pray that this climate we are in will turn around for the best. In the meantime, fishin is a great way not to go crazy.;)
I look forward to your posts and maybe runnin in to ya out there one night.

Thanks for the warm welcomes. I haven't been fishing these last 2 weeks sorry to day. That really stinks. SO far my biggest fish have been an awesome striper caught this spring 30 pounds and a few years ago I caught a large 250 lb tuna. Hoping the weather will turn the fishing around in the bay or the ocean.

I got that fish in the bay from shore. I don't spot burn and use etiquette when posting so I can't really tell you exactly where lol. I hear they are getting them in the sandy hook rips from shore at like 4:30 am though from a posting on another website that has public fishing reports. Can't wait for the bite to start up again. Wish I had a 4x4 to get my butt on the beach at island beach.

Cardoc, welcome to the site. You don't have to pay to get on if you are healthy and in good shape. You can park on the last street, where the IBML is located. There are a few spots there, you have to get there early. Then you can just walk on, go to the right, and cover as much area as you want on foot. There are a few nice holes in the beginning, try to walk through at low tide and you will see them.
